It is with great pleasure that we announce that Nadeshiko-kai was authorized as a nonprofit 501 c 3 (Tax exempt) organization in July of this year.
We are currently looking for sponsors who will be willing to support our events such as “Seijin-shiki” or coming-of-age ceremonies and activities to spread Japanese traditional culture. The cash contributions you make will be utilized for our operating expenses including the assembly hall of the coming-of-age ceremony and advertisements to recruit participants for our various events as a part of Nadeshiko-kai’s activities.
We also certainly welcome donations for raffle prizes such as restaurant gift cards or gift certificates, cosmetics, and general goods favored by new adults at “Seijin-shiki.”
We need as many Kimonos as possible in our volunteer activities. We will cordially accept any donations of wearable Kimonos and Kimono accessories (“Furisode,” “Obi,” “Montsuki hakama,” “Shichigosan” Kimonos) at any time.
In addition, we are looking for media sponsors and performers who can demonstrate Japanese traditional culture.
For your donations, please make your check payable to: Japanese Culture and Traditions, Inc., and mail it to the address below. You can also make donations through the following web site. We greatly appreciate your support and contributions. Your monetary donations are tax deductible.
We strongly hope to contribute to revitalization of Japanese community and to strengthening the U.S.-Japan relationship by supporting young people who will play a vital role in the future of Japan through encouraging active participation in our wonderful Japanese traditional culture.
